Challenge
Hotels require stable electricity 24/7. In this project, the client needed a solution that could improve power reliability, reduce operating costs, and support a lower-carbon energy strategy—without sacrificing safety or system efficiency.
Solution
Avepower delivered a scalable LFP-based BESS integrating batteries, smart inverters, and an advanced Energy Management System (EMS).
Outcome
Avepower delivered a best-fit battery configuration for the hotel, enabling more sustainable energy use and supporting meaningful long-term cost reduction through smarter energy shifting and higher solar self-consumption.
Project Overview
This hotel energy storage project adopts a safe and efficient Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to achieve intelligent energy management, stable power supply, and low-carbon operation.
The system integrates lithium-iron-phosphate (LFP) batteries, smart inverters, and an advanced Energy Management System (EMS). Through EMS-controlled scheduling, the system supports peak shaving and valley filling, load shifting, and seamless mode switching between grid-connected and off-grid operation.
When paired with rooftop photovoltaic (PV) generation, the BESS can be flexibly dispatched to increase solar self-consumption, reduce electricity costs, and lower emissions—helping the hotel move toward more sustainable energy use.

How the Hotel Uses the 640kWh Battery Energy Storage System
Store Solar Energy During the Day
Excess PV generation is stored in the battery instead of being wasted.
Use Stored Energy During Peak Hours
The hotel shifts energy use to reduce peak electricity costs and smooth load demand.
Backup Support When Needed
The system can support critical loads with seamless switching between grid-connected and off-grid modes.
