- Configuration: 4×42U cabinets, 2 clusters in parallel
- Continuous Current: 200A
Challenge
European grid stability and renewable integration created a clear demand: a safe, space-efficient high-voltage C&I battery system—our Lithuanian installer partner needed a high-voltage, high-capacity storage system that was safe, reliable, and space-efficient, while still being deployable on a tight project schedule.
Solution
AVEPOWER supported a step-by-step scale-up: verified MB31 314Ah cells → pre-assembled packs → joint engineering for a 522.496kWh / 832V HV architecture with robust BMS, documentation, and integration support.
Outcome
A 522.496kWh, 832V high-voltage ESS delivered as a compact four-cabinet solution—engineered jointly, integrated smoothly on-site, and validated by stable performance and multi-level BMS protections.
From Sample Orders to a Strategic Partnership
Phase 1: Sample Cells
Starting with small sample orders of our EVE MB31 314Ah cells, we provided the building blocks for their early projects. The feedback was immediate and positive: they were impressed by the cell consistency, the accurate capacity (verified at 314Ah), and the detailed technical support we provided. This initial success built a strong foundation of trust. They knew they had found a reliable partner in Avepower.
Phase 2: Packs + System Support
As project volumes increased, the partnership evolved from individual cells to our pre-assembled battery packs, helping streamline production, cut assembly time, and support more demanding installations. We worked side-by-side with their team, providing integration documentation and engineering support.
With our BMU and BCU architecture—featuring ±0.2%FS voltage sampling accuracy and robust CAN/RS485 communication—their systems gained the control, protection, and reliability required for modern energy storage deployments.
Engineering the 522.496kWh / 832V HV ESS
The true milestone came with a demanding C&I installation: a 522.496kWh high-voltage system operating at a nominal 832V DC. The goal was clear—deliver high power with uncompromising safety, reliability, and space efficiency.
Our engineers collaborated directly with the customer’s technical team to architect the full solution: the 522.496kWh High-Voltage ESS.
We configured four 42U cabinets. Each main battery cluster consisted of 13 battery packs, with each pack built as a 1P20S configuration of MB31 cells, delivering 20.096kWh per pack. Two clusters were then safely paralleled to reach the final 832V / 628Ah / 522.5kWh specification.
