The BMS can support multiple protection functions, including over-charge protection, over-discharge protection, charge over-current protection, discharge over-current protection, short-circuit protection, temperature protection and cell balancing support.

Designed for Stable Operation in Different Conditions

The Avepower 10kwh powerwall has undergone rigorous safety testing to ensure reliable and secure operation.  Even when subjected to prolonged charging at 1C/4.2 V or reverse charging for 90 minutes, the cells remain stable with no fire or explosion. 

The Avepower powerwall 10kw battery supports charging at 0.2C from 0°C to 10°C and at 0.5C from 10°C to 45°C, under a relative humidity of 60% ± 25% R.H. Charging at very low temperatures, especially below 0°C, may lead to reduced efficiency, lower capacity, and a shorter cycle life. For discharging, it operates at 0.5C between -10°C and 5°C, and at 1C between 5°C and 60°C, ensuring stable performance within a wide range of environments.

For long-term storage, the recommended temperature range is 0°C to 45°C with 60% ± 25% R.H. The battery should not remain unused for more than six months without charging. If stored for half a year, it must be recharged once, while batteries with a protection circuit should be recharged every three months to maintain safety and performance.
