A 32kWh Battery Bank for a High-Consumption Home

The homeowner required more storage capacity than a standard single residential battery could provide. The objective was to store more solar electricity during the day, reduce grid consumption during evening hours and maintain an energy reserve for selected household loads during an outage.

The completed system combines two floor-standing battery units with the existing inverter, solar control equipment, electrical protection and household distribution system.

Installing the equipment in one dedicated area keeps the system accessible for inspection, configuration and future maintenance.
