A Custom 400kWh ESS for Commercial Energy Management
This project delivers a customized 400kWh battery energy storage system for in Sweden. The customer required a complete system that could support solar energy storage, backup operation and intelligent energy management without requiring extensive equipment assembly on site.
The final solution integrates the inverter, battery trays, battery racks, BMS, microgrid controller, HVAC system, fire isolation switch and outdoor protective enclosure into a coordinated energy storage platform.
Because the main components were integrated and preconfigured before delivery, the project team could reduce on-site wiring, system matching and commissioning work.
One Integrated Platform Instead of Multiple Separate Devices
The 400kWh system integrates the main battery, power conversion, thermal management and control equipment inside a coordinated cabinet architecture.

Integrated HVAC Keeps Battery Temperature Below 25°C
The energy storage system includes an internal air-conditioning system designed to maintain the cabinet temperature below 25°C for stable battery operation.
Maintaining a controlled internal temperature helps reduce heat accumulation during charging and discharging. It also improves temperature consistency between battery modules and reduces unnecessary thermal stress on the cells.
The HVAC system is coordinated with battery temperature information so that cooling can respond to actual system operating conditions.
Intelligent BMS Monitoring at Module and System Level
The integrated battery management system actively monitors each battery module and coordinates the operation of the complete 400kWh battery system.
It collects battery data, controls operating limits and applies protection when abnormal voltage, current or temperature conditions are detected.

The multi-level BMS architecture monitors, optimizes and balances the battery system. When unsuitable operating conditions are detected, it can limit charging or discharging, issue alarms or initiate protective shutdown according to the configured control logic.
60kW Rated DC Power for Commercial Applications
The system supports 60kW of rated DC power and provides different current levels for normal, rated and short-duration operating conditions.
A recommended current of 50A can be used for regular operation, while the system supports a nominal charge and discharge current of 100A. At 25°C, peak discharge current can reach 125A for up to two minutes.
